A friendly flat center section provides the stability you need in the line-up or whenever paddling out.
The concaved full nose shape and low entry rocker will allow you to enter the waves easily and maintain speed at the same time.
The softer rails and the extra lift tail section will make the Classic turn on a dime and work as a high performance longboard.
The light and durable carbon MCT technology gives you the 3D flex when needed and is offered in our special edition.

Had my first session on the Classic Surf SUP MCT 9'0 this morning. I have a focus 8'5 Torpedo, which I love, and I was worried about handling the stability of this lower volume board. Once in the water, didn't take long to adjust to the board. The shape made it easier to catch fast waves because there's stability as you lean into the nose to drop in. Performed phenomenal in the waves. Turns rightly when you step back. Very stoked on this board.
I just received my 9’0” Classic Sup. Extremely well packed. Fast Delivery to my door. My experience with Focus have been exceptional this is my second Focus Board. I want to congratulate Jacob for his team and support for his clients Well Done Focus Sup Hawaii Aloha Rene from Puerto Rico
I am in love with this board! First off: I'm a fit and active 64 yr old, been surfing for 50+ years and paddleboarding for about 3. I've been riding recently an 8' / 28" wide / 100ltr volume board in and around Ventura, CA. I was looking for a single board that I could throw on top of the car to handle knee-high to overhead surf. This board does just that! I've taken her out a few times now in mixed conditions and the board performs beyond what I expected: turns on a dime, drives down the line and noserides all day long! Running a 2+1 set up with 4" side bites and an 8" Greenough Stage 6 Paddle Fin. Insane! This board turns as well as my 8'0" and it's one of the fastest boards I've ever been on. Surprisingly the board is really stable for being just under 29" wide and 115 volume. Focus customer service is second to none. Great people! And before I bought, I checked in with a few Focus owners to see if the construction held up... no complaints. I would recommend this board to anyone with intermediate to advanced skill sets. This is now my "go-to" board. Focus makes the Classic in a 9'10" version that I'm sure would be a great choice for someone looking for a stable board that still turns well and nose rides. When I've beaten this board up from loving usage, I could see me getting another one. Best in class!
Great Stability, Easy to carry and a sleek design. Great board to have In your quiver for when the surf is up!
Took it out yesterday in Malibu for the first time and I was expecting some nose riding and good down the line speed but...I was wrong. This thing can really surf. Once you step back she turns incredibly well and it makes cutbacks so much fun. It's way faster than I thought and incredibly stable and yesterday was extremely bumpy and windy. I like it with a 2+1 fin set up and with the center fin as far forward as possible.
