The wider and shorter outline is designed for tight rail to rail carving, while the double concaved bottom generates extra drive through flat sections.
With its full rails and wider nose area, the Torpedo is very stable and gets into waves with ease.
The five-fin system and an accelerated “V”- tail combo enables to switch it up from quad to thruster fin setups, and giving you an option to enjoy the Torpedo in different surf conditions.
This board is optimal for all wave conditions, whether its choppy or smooth lineup.

United StatesHands down, this is the best surfing stand up paddle I have ever surfed. I am on the water 3 to 4 times a week and It’s been three months now that I have been surfing only my Torpedo (8’5) in multiple conditions. It has a perfect shape that give you the stability you expect from a SUP yet the speed and agility of a surfboard that allows you to cross certain sections on the wave. It is light weight, yet very durable. The carbon paddle is super light and super strong, which helps you get into the waves easily and stay in for longer sessions (2.5-3 hrs). Thank you FOCUS team.
United StatesJust picked this up last week. Board in epic, great combination of everything you would want in a board of this size. Speed down the line, loose off the lip, and very stable. Jacob and his team at Focus are extremely helpful and full of stoke for the sport. I'm looking forward to buying more boards from them in the near future!
United StatesI purchased my board in 2020. I’ve been a short border forever when I started SUP surfing. This torpedo board has allowed me to ride waves like a short border. Board is perfect for paddling out and catching waves. Highly recommend this poor to find anybody who wants to catch a lot of waves and ride them like your on a short board. I Am 200 lbs and board works great.

United StatesJust got a torpedo 8’9. First session on it, surf was waist high and clean. Very impressed on stability and easy to paddle. Very maneuverable, easy to ride. Solid construction and well built. Looking forward to some larger waves and many good sessions on this one. Mahalo Focus!!
