United StatesI have had the 9-10 classic for a few months, living in Florida the surf can be marginal at best. The Focus Classic makes an easy go in most conditions, from knee high to a few feet over head. I prefer to ride the classic as a single fin. The board is a great noserider and pivots on a dime. Enjoy the glide!
United StatesI have been eyeing this one for a while. Never got a email that there was one. I then started looking at other stuff. Found a Focus deal in SD. Went to look at the torpedo and saw that they had the 9’ version. I asked Ashley if they had the 9’10” by chance. She called their warehouse and to my disbelief they had it. She said it was the last one know in the state of California and she did not even know they had it. She had the guys go get it. 30 minutes later it was in my hands. After looking it over I agreed to purchase it. Only issue was that they did not have the upgraded fins for it. Oh well it’s still mine. Got home ordered RSPro rail saver tape and fins. This rail saver (clear) on the board and you really have to look to see it there. Fins come in tomorrow. I went with the quads from HO Stevie. Why you ask well that’s where the 3 stars comes in. Been trying to message and contact by email and messages anyone at Focus SUP. Yup you guessed it no reply. Surfing it this weekend at tamamar.
United StatesThis board surfs unbelievable. Had it for over a week and this is best board I have ever owned. I have owned Naish, Merrick and Starboards and the classic blows them away.
I was looking for a board I can grow into since I'm new to SUP but old school surfer. This board is perfect. Great for flat water and surfs great! Sales staff at Focus are great! Highly recommend their all their products.
howdy! just added this board to my quiver (I also have a Focus SUP "Smoothie") and very happy I did. it's great for all manner of local breaks around LA. also just surfed it last night down in OC in Crystal Cove. pretty big out there (shoulder to head high) and board held up great. quick and versatile.
