Built for charging waves! Suitable for intermediate and advanced surfers who prefer a stable and user-friendly surf SUP.
The wider and shorter outline is designed for tight rail to rail carving, while the double concaved bottom generates extra drive through flat sections.
With its full rails and wider nose area, the Torpedo is very stable and gets into waves with ease.
The five-fin system and an accelerated “V”- tail combo enables to switch it up from quad to thruster fin setups, and giving you an option to enjoy the Torpedo in different surf conditions.
This board is optimal for all wave conditions, whether its choppy or smooth lineup.

So far it has handled well- I’m taking it to Hollister ranch this weekend knowing it will handle what ever comes-
So I went down is size, from 9’1” to the 8’5” torpedo. Road it today for the first time 3-4 Bolsa Chica. So it will take a few surfs to figure out sweet spots-but what I can say is for first ride it felt good and I dropped in on a few overhead waves, the board responded well- I think this board will become an extension of me- which when there is size, that is what you want-thanks for board and Jacob at the shop was a cool cat to work with.
Coming from a 9’ 30” 137L long board style SUP, I was definitely concerned moving 7 inches shorter. ( I’m 6’1”, 195lbs/88kg ) After 9 sessions, I’ve found this board to be super stable, and super responsive. If you are looking to move into something that can handle later drops into steeper waves, look no further. Killer performance without losing stability.
Use this board in all conditions on the Jersey shore where the waves crash, board handles great and gets down the line super quick. I set it up as a quad, was a bit unstable at first (I'm 5'9" 195 lbs) but got used to it very quickly. Been slamming it.....
Lightweight board. Great design and construction. Those 31" of width make the board very stable but make no mistake, this thing can really surf if you want to. I found the board very fun also when it's very choppy and/or windy because of those extra liters the board have. I would say that this one is a great go-to board option...a fun surf session is assured. No matter what the surf conditions are. Good job Focus!!
