The R-Type is built to sustain heavy use and is ideal for rental, SUP Yoga, camps, and recreational paddling activities.
What makes the R-Type stand apart from other boards is the construction that we use. This is not a molded pop-out board, but a machine shaped, hand-glassed board, and finished in a top and bottom ABS shells with seamless connection.
Available in two shapes that feature a well-balanced SUP board with full rails, and stable center mass. These features give the rider confidence whether paddling in a straight line or standing still.
Featuring a full deck pad, 4-point tie downs, ergonomic handle, and a 2+1 fin setup.

Have not used sup as of this review, but with past focus products I’m sure it will be great.
United StatesWe absolutely love our Focus paddle boards! We have both the 10'6" and 11'6" R-Type boards. They're beautiful, very stable, well-balanced and easy to handle. I'm on mine practically every day as I welcome the sun in MDR. I love to share my second board with friends and those with little or no experience feel comfortable very quickly. I highly recommend them.
