A short surfing documentary featuring Focus SUP Hawaii team rider Mo Freitas on his recent trip to Israel in the summer of 2014.
While surfing in Israel Mo was able to experience the best this amazing country had to offer. He traveled North to the Jordan River where Jesus walked on water and south to the Dead Sea, the lowest sea in the world. And the saltiest…
Visiting Jerusalem showed Mo a different culture where so many different religions get to live together and share this amazing holy city.
Riding with the Focus SUP Hawaii Israeli team riders, Mo traveled from surf break to surf break, getting to appreciate the surf culture of Israel. Surf, wakeboard and skate, Mo got to do all of them in one of the most diverse places on earth.
The cities he visited were: Kiryat Yam in the north, Haifa the biggest city in northern Israel. The north has lots of surf spots, Mo got some good waves at Atlit which is little south of Haifa.
Hadera in central Isreal where the Focus SUP office is located, this area has some really good surf spots. Mo surfed with Tal (Focus Team Rider) and some of the other locals, they were amazed by the level of his SUP surf abilities.
Tel Aviv in central Isreal has probably the best surf spots , most of the SUP surf footage was shot there. The main spot was Hilton Beach in Tel Aviv.
